Pros

Love who I work with and the company does encourage you to be who you are. It’s relaxed in that aspect

Cons

Was hybrid with the whole company being remote on Fridays until out of nowhere they told us we would be in office full time starting the following week. I understand companies are trying to do this but no roll out and no explanation? It really felt like a slap in the face and was apparent they really do not care about us. Also pay could be better

Pros

Coworkers are great. Pretty good health benefits.

Cons

Out of nowhere we were notified of IMMEDIATE return to full week in office. We had hybrid Fridays. There is a huge feeling that this is being done in hopes that people quit… it’s sketchy, causing huge frustration, and bringing down the morale. Work from home Fridays SAVES employees. For myself and my team, we NEED the work from home flexibility as working in office is too distracting and we need a quiet environment. When we are up against deadlines, working from home saves us time that would be used to commute. We’re on early and late because we can be. Not to mention you’re putting a burden on your employees with child care, commutes, other financial burdens that this extra day causes. If you want people to quit so you don’t have to deal with the alternative (which is what we all think is going on) congrats, you WILL lose employees. You will lose your best talent. I truly thought this company was better than this. They keep showing ways they don’t appreciate employees. This was the nail in the coffin. Additionally, the work life balance is HORRIFIC. I never leave for lunch. I constantly work late. I work weekends. Compensation does not reflect the hard work put in. Our team could use more hands, but they will never hire more people so we are constantly overworked. Management sucks. Although coworkers are great, everyone is also fake to eachother in different departments. The offices are run down and falling apart. I can go on. Bonding with coworkers over the trauma of this place is not normal. It blows my mind some people have been here as long as they have considering everyone seems miserable.
