Business Outlook
Pros
Working out in California, the Public Finance group is larger than any other in the state. There are significant opportunities to grow and attain responsibility over numerous deals. It's fast paced and relatively high intensity, but also very rewarding.
Cons
Support bankers are often overworked due to poor staffing. Pay doesn't start out competitive enough. Steep learning curve with less instruction than may be needed. There have been many acquisitions of other firms by Stifel that do not feel integrated, systems are disjointed and oftentimes confusing.
