      excellent work-life balance, surrounded by talented people. Truly a solid firm with a lot of upside potential

      Cons

      still building their reputation, but now considered a "super regional", which can sometimes be viewed as a negative when you are competing against bulge-bracket firms

      Offers a good work/life balance, decent upward mobility, fair management, geographic flexibility, good culture although continues to change with ongoing acquisitions.

      Cons

      Compensation not always competitive with larger i-banking peers. Senior members of equity sales force increasingly lack motivation given comp structure, which results in an incentive structure that encourages account maintenance over growth.

      Downtown location, decent benefits: 401k, company stock, company employee events and local prestige. Financial advisers all local and know many people.

      Cons

      Long hours, little praise, fast paced. May not feel branch manager understands stress put on client associates. Hours for client associates not always fairly treated in terms of time off & hours.
