      Micromanaging and corporate policies make this job a doozy

      Pros

      Flexible scheduling is a pro, benefits are nice.

      Cons

      Everything aside from flexible scheduling and health insurance is a con. Micromanaging, shady management/corporate practices, job insecurity, distrust in CEO, responsibility for failure of company is placed on the shoulders of hourly employees, no promotions from within (stylists are considered too “sympathetic” to the cause to become managers), higher ups are jumping ship at breakneck speed, and the list goes on. The outlook for SF as a company is not good.

      Lizzie has run it into the ground and then ran over it

      Discount. Was fun before new CEO

      Cons

      When I started stock prices were near $60 a share. Today they were $6. In less than a year our new CEO has run Our business in the ground. We now are micromanaged even harder even though upper management is to blame. Oh and they play the Hunger games with you stats and let all your coworkers see how you are performing on any given day. Even give out Emojis to the ones who do well. Inventory is a nightmare and you’ll spend hours fighting with filters and a search bar that isn’t really a search bar. Seriously they make this job 1063838929938 times harder than it has to be.

      A Few Pros, but More Cons

      Cons

      Very low pay Management that doesn't care Stylists are not treated well Business runs as business first company, rather than employee first Ever-shifting company requirements causing confusion and changing goal posts No growth or development opportunities, no opportunites for promotions or raises
