Pros

Super Flexible, I gave a very supportive lead, fun, exciting. Great for students

Cons

Metrics, bad feedback due to given inventory. Meeting metrics to assure it doesn't get too loose for the week.

Pros

*Most flexible schedule I've ever had. *Satisfying a client (making her feel beautiful, smart, and confident in her clothes) is INCREDIBLY rewarding. *I'm thrilled to style for SAHMs, outside working Moms, women who are not Moms, women as young as 21, women as old as 76!! Love it! It is truly my calling and is a lot of fun. This job rarely even feels like work.

Cons

I've had zero recognition (not verbally nor monetarily) for consistently performing at or above the aspirational level. I do not speak of performing at our expected, average levels. I already get paid hourly to be "Average". I perform at the aspirational level or above that level consistently.... my lead does not verbally communicate praise and the company as a whole does NOT reward for excellent performance. They DO NOT have a system in place for top performers. **A leader only ever reached out about my speed, NOT my performance. Example, I dropped below the expected speed of 4 Fixes per hour to 3.5 per hour and the Lead reached out to me about it. Sadly, if it becomes clear that the number of Fixes are more important than the purchases made (because of my styling!) I will probably pursue other avenues..... so consider that if this treatment is okay with you in a job. It wouldn't be overly impactful to SF if I left, I say it mostly because someone at HQ might actually see this review. (A lot of us put this in our company surveys and it has gone unrecognized thus far). They may be working on it unbeknownst to me. I'm wondering if the volume of Fixes styled is more important than the quality I produce. They may have a data-driven reason to support this model but I don't see that lasting long-term.... I prefer to think I'm building a strong relationship that makes the client return Fix after Fix which is better for the company long-term. Stitch Fix would carry on just fine without me, I just happen to love it and don't want to leave right now. Thanks for reading.
