      Lazy people are rewarded with promotions or praised like the saviours while others with intelligence are the first to go. Manager is useless as said "open communication" is a bunch of nonsense The moment sales go down, you are out regardless of position. Never forgot the moment where Head of customer service informed everyone that no permanent staff will be retrenched - yeah right!

      Pros

      I don't have many positive things to say but this is a required field. Working remotely was positive, but besides current remote workers and some teams, nearly all future hires will be in-office / hybrid. I know they want to move everyone back to the office and are doing so slowly so everyone doesn't quit at once.

      Cons

      - constant layoffs - mediocre pay - workaholic culture - shady culture / lots of backstabbers - not a stable job
