Cons
Was mislead from the beginning regarding the territory that I would be working, the amount of money I would be making & the timing of when I would start to make commission from my accounts. Had I not spoken up for myself, I wouldn't have received some of the (little bit) of commission that was made one month. Had to work hard to earn the trust/respect of the customers' due to previous incidents that happened prior to my starting. One of my 1st visits to a fabricator was of him complaining about how much he hated the company. It was pretty frustrating and embarrassing. You won't get paid commission unless your customer's accounts are paid, which is fair, however then you’ll spend half your time "chasing after" debt that is owed. You then must keep track of when the customer's pay or else it'll be commission that you won't get paid on after the fact. There is no easy way of tracking commission & not much transparency. Then when you speak up about it, they'll get rid of you. I wish I would've believed the reviews that I read before starting instead of believing the excuses that the HR guy fed me when I mentioned my concerns after reading said reviews. Be very careful if you take a position with this company. They, unfortunately, have a bad reputation in the industry. What they have going for them is a huge inventory of natural stone & that's why most fabricators will still buy from this supplier despite how they may feel towards them.
