The team I am on is great to work with and most of my direct colleagues are easy going. Competitive starting salary. Unlimited PTO.
Cons
Not much room for advancement if you are out of the inner circle. Nepotism and favoritism run rampant. Your direct supervisor may just be a college friend or family member of someone in the C-suite so be careful what you say. Fear of layoffs are real after 2 this year alone. We hired for growth but couldn't sustain it so letting go of quality individuals was the only recourse? Gaslighting a situation may happen so again watch what you say and to whom. We claim to act like a small company but really operate like one of the larger tech companies in the lack of transparency. Benefits are okay but health insurance is so expensive. Higher than normal premiums is hard for a family.
