Pros

- tons of advancement opportunities, and team is small so you will be recognized for your successes - smart, hard-working, and talented team pushes you to set challenging goals, and to get creative to achieve them - great product that meets a real need in the marketplace

Cons

- pretty nerdy vibe in the office - that could be a pro, depending on who you are - it's a start-up, you will get asked to wear many hats - things change pretty fast, even big things, so if you're not nimble and flexible, you won't be happy

StreetLight Data is a true innovator and is bringing much needed, high value solutions to the transportation and economic development sectors. A focus on credibility and doing what is right by the customer, in balance with company and employees is a key part of their success.

Cons

Normal challenges of high growth - rapidly growing targets/goals and lean staff puts a premium on time management, and does not allow time to rest on laurels.

Neat product, industry leader, stock benefits with Jacobs is nice, cautious/careful leadership, friendly culture

Cons

Laptops are a daily frustration Experience and work environment varies based on team and management, lots of historical promotion from within, so in some cases lacking outside perspective of career field to coach employees or how to manage/support team Product packaging is difficult for customers to understand along with high product costs makes for challenges. public sector customer base = painful procurement, tough to engage user base, constant subscription funding issues
