Pros

Stripe now feels very different from a few years ago; less “work out as we go” kind of vibe, with a lot more structure to things. Steadily maturing as a company.

Cons

Focus on getting the work done now, super busy with day to day stuff; difficult to plan long-term career goals. Not a 9-5 schedule.

Pros

- the mission is great, and there's a lot of really cool work that gets done - company is doing well and has a great outlook - It's not a very social place, but there are some wonderful people there

Cons

- founders and tech influencers get a lot of special treatment. It is hard to "fit in" here. - leadership up and down will say they value work/life balance but they do not. The reality is that you will not perform at acceptable levels if you are not putting in overtime - not sure if this is still the case, but they refused to share/prove whether men and women are paid equally
