Pros

I worked at Stripes for 13 years. I only left because of Hurricane Harvey. I still miss my family of co-workers and my customers.

Cons

Benefits were not as good after the company went public with their stock, but still more & better benefits than other places that I have worked.

Pros

I work as a retail associate, this is a very easy job with very straight forward tasks. The environment of employees is generally pretty friendly depending on where you are working. There are a few good managers too.

Cons

No breaks allocated. You are on your feet the entire shift. Unreliable employees: I have been left waiting for hours on my relief and even completing a second shift after relief does not show up on multiple occasions. Of course, customers are bad. I've had managers that steal from the company and employees, sexually harass employees, and are utterly incapable of performing their tasks.

Pros

None since Sunoco bought them. Most recently, 7-Eleven bought them.

Cons

Too many changes too rapidly! Turnover too high at every Operational level. Too many Mergers/Acquisitions to maintain any consistency/continuity.
