Pros

The duties you are responsible for are quite simple. As a cashier you get to deal with a huge diversity of people including Businessmen/woman, local people, tourist, and etc. so it is a experience that can help you develop your social skills and perception with new people you speak to.

Cons

Starting pay is really close to minimum wage. ($7.50/hr).Stripes is a 24/7 hr convenience store, which means that you will work graveyard shifts from 11 pm to 6 am.

Pros

Good pay, good benefits descent bonuses. Very structured, there's a place and process for everything. Lots of coverage. It was rare to be short handed.

Cons

Mostly hire outside the company for GM's. Very high turn over rate for management. Low morale in those stores with turn door managers.

Pros

This company is growing so fast and has many opportunities for advancement. Met many people that truly care about the business and their customers. Great place for someone that is trying to move up in the retail industry.

Cons

Disconnect between the company's overall vision and execution on the operations side by store managers. Lack of communication and follow-up with employee training. Poor habits in both store and kitchen areas that ultimately affect customer experience. Lack of integrity with upper management on operations side, specifically Area Managers.
