Pros

Some coworkers were great people. (Like half of them on our team)

Cons

Everything. Need FMLA? Hope you don't need that time off to recover from whatever ailment you have. They hire a third party called Tilt to (according to them) "manage your healthcare while you are on FMLA. That "management" includes at least 7-8 texts, three emails and 2-4 phone calls a week, demanding to know what follow up appointments you've had, where they were, who you were seen by, how you got there, and when your next appointment was. When asked why they needed all of my PHI, the answer was "so we can help you and manage your care". As a grown adult, I didn't need to be treated like a 12 year old by somebody who couldn't explain why they were constantly harassing me. Emails to people services to find out why they were having a third party bothering me was met with no information or explanation. After three weeks and literally dozens of calls, a hundred texts and fifty emails or so, I told them to quit calling me and bothering me, and I was understandably angered at this point and raised my voice to them. It didn't stop them, but I had to block them on my phone and email because of the constant harassment. Then there was the issue of pay rates being arbitrary. 25 years of healthcare experience getting paid less than people with ten years of only CNA or Dialysis tech experience. I helped develop the entire workflow, because we had none. We got a few days training on epic and were sent to work. Developed a list of every dialysis clinic in the state and the neighboring state, all smart phrases, our excel sheets for tracking hospital admissions, and countless other resources and helped the other people on our team understand how to access it and use it, in addition to my assigned facilities, and I was still the lowest paid person. Was it because I was the only Caucasian person? The only male? The only veteran? It certainly wasn't because my abilities and dedication was below standard. Also, volunteered at every turn to take on projects, cover other employees when they were on PTO. But was never fairly compensated for that. Come back from FMLA and was written up (in July ,2025) for something I had been verbally counseled on in October of 2024. Right before mid year evals. Right before bonus time. Coincidence? You tell me. Also, two times in two years, payroll wasn't met. Never found out why until the following Monday. So everyone with automatic payments set up had to pay bounced check or late fees, and when they did decide to have a all hands call about it, the CEO acted like it wasn't a big deal. Our concerns weren't addressed. Management leaves you hanging, changes your workflow to include things they had swore up and down we would not be responsible for, for 2.5-3 years. But when that person got a promotion, suddenly we were tasked with doing things an entire different department was responsible for. And when you complain about the addition of other people's work, you get written up. The most childish and abrasive people put in charge of established teams, and would sit in on our weekly meetings and then have our local boss counsel people for either joking with the team, as we had since the day we all started. How dare we have fun with our coworkers that we had grown so close to. Then write one person up and use that as an excuse for termination for something that another teammate has done and they never even was spoken to about it. Uneven, vindictive, and illogical application of "policy". Directly lying to you by both local management and human resources. New managers who want to impose their authority over how you do your job, when they didn't even know what your job entailed. Being counseled for not volunteering to do additional work? Apparently nobody understands what VOLUNTEER means. And not comprehending that when you give bogus write ups, talk down to employees, their willingness to help them out goes away. This entire organization is a mess. Plus, why do almost every positive review here come from the home office in Denver, or are anonymous? Nobody believes that you need to hide your identity when giving a glowing review. I was glad when I was let go, even if it was for a vague reason and when I asked for clarification, was blown off. I'd literally rather flip burgers at Burger King than go back to work for this unorganized, unfocused, vindictive, unprofessional company.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We take concerns related to FMLA administration very seriously. The third-party leave management vendor we work with does not collect information outside of the standard FMLA certification process. Based on this and the other information you shared about the communications as well as performance, we ask you to report and review this further with our VP, People. We hear your concern regarding pay equity and recognition of contributions. We conduct compensation analyses a few times per year to ensure our data aligns with the market. Actively evaluating our practices on a regular basis is a priority of ours. Please get in touch with People Operations at peopleops@strivehealth.com to review your concerns with our VP, People.
