Pros

Travel Outdoors Physically demanding Climbing Seeing all kinds of cool wildlife

Cons

The management is very bad. Compensation is based on the number and type of inspections. Which can be good, but most of the time does not work out to be benifitional. You have to work with a partner. Imagine spending 20 days straight, 24 hours a day, with someone not of you choosing. Seems like the company is hiring and firing at the same time. Some of the firings have been arbitrary. The chances of advancing beyond the field are slim to none.

Pros

The position offers a flexible schedule with the opportunity for some cool travel. The compensation is based on production and has the potential to be quite lucrative.

Cons

This company has been around for a long time but feels brand new. The management is chaotic and, at times, quite disrespectful and condescending. Very frustrating as the team of field engineers appears to be the singular source of cash flow....
