Pros

Decent benifits, gives a good overall picture of industry as a whole.

Cons

Very little flexibility inthe work. More of a hierachical system instead of promotions based on merit. Politics rule as they do in many corporations, much of a person's success in this depend on how willing your manager is to let you try new things and how much they support your growth. Stryker is not a bad place to start a career, but long term prospects are very limited.

Pros

Ability to make a high income Limited paperwork Nobody looking over your shoulder You can schedule 80 work weeks or 30 hour work weeks depending upon need

Cons

They raise your quota every year to where you must win every deal They are constantly trying to find ways to reduce pay; smaller territories, reduced commission, less products to sell in order to get more feet on the street

Pros

Big company with offices around the country and the world, cash and resources.

Cons

Little inter-divisional communication and sharing of information and ideas, need to be a Stryker 'insider' to get promoted.
