      Industry leader in most divisions. The company- leadership and employees have a sense of strong pride in Stryker. Great resume bullet.

      Cons

      If you don't perform, you are gone within one year. Leadership expects a 20-45% growth regardless of economy or circumstances. You get it done or your gone.

      Pros

      there is great job security. they're very careful not to over hire and try to use resources wisely. Very open with coorporate and divisional information and communication in general is very highly valued. in general it's a pretty postive work environment and optimism is encouraged for the most part. there's a lot of very intelligent people in one place and you can almost always find an answer to any questions you may have. there is always something new to learn if you seek it out.

      success is very differentiated depending on department. they seem to have a hard time getting rid of the "bad eggs" or those holding back the rest of high achieving group members. choose your position wisely. opportunities for advancement can vary
