Pros
You will get all the time in world as there will hardly be any work to do.
Cons
1. No Growth. 2. Too much politics 3. Everything is controlled by so called people managers, Doesn't matter how you perform They will decide who gets better ratings/work/travel/other opportunities. 4. HR is non existent, no proper policies defined, most of the policies are outdated. 5. Leadership changes every 2-3 years, so lots of organization changes every now and then. 6. People are very unprofessional, Departments like HR/Finance/IT never get your work done without multiple followups. 7. Biggest problem of all SGTC is just a support center, most of work is done in their divisions and maintenance works come to India. Management very clearly states that there are no plans to expand software teams in India and they are only focused on setting up hardware labs etc. My advice don''t even consider SGTC if you still want to do something in your career, If you have reached a stable point in career and want a peaceful place then its the best place for you.
