Cons considerably outweigh the Pros

Pros

-The people. Your coworkers become family and are incredibly talented. -Stability. The company has been around for 50 years and continues to dominate. -Exposure. You can gain a lot of knowledge about a lot of areas of the business if you proactively pursue learning.

Cons

- Favoritism. If management (c-suite) likes you, you propel quickly, if they don't, you will hit your ceiling equally as fast. Has very little to do with skill. - Zero Flexibility. Expect you to be available at all times and offer no options for working from home. - Compensation. Standard yearly raises for performance are abysmal. Employees resort to counter offer situations to get a respectable bump in pay which results in the company questioning loyalty. - Inefficient. Meeting heavy culture with multiple presentations which doesn't allow time to execute the plans constantly being discussed.

Challenging but fun

Pros

Large company with space to grow, if you love jewelry you'll be very happy. It's a big place so you have to be a high performer to stand out. Very much depends on your department there, creative areas seem to have a little more freedom versus production. Good technology, opportunity to travel, and ability to work with some cutting edge stuff. Security is good, feels very safe.

Cons

High pressure at times and it can be hard to make quick changes in such a big organization. Benefits, bonuses, and family leave could be higher if they want to compete better with other large scale employers. Stinks that as big as the campus is it still has crammed offices.
