Pros

The benefits package is very strong. Especially appreciated their willingness to match charitable contributions. Health and Retirement plans are also strong.

Cons

Lots of turn-over in the divsion with which I was associated. Extremely engineering oriented and not so dedicated to customer service. EBIT was all that mattered.

Pros

Good solid company with good benefits. I think that Tyco is a good company and most problems they are now experiencing is the fault of the upper level managers in Shakopee

Cons

The Shakopee plant is in a transition. Previous operations were Transfered to Mexico. That transfer was rushed and the business is suffering. Management moved operation before Mexico was ready, quality and on times have suffered. Orders are down according to friends that are still there. The transition was a disaster.
