Pros

The Kids are cute there.

Cons

- Roles are often misrepresented during hiring, particularly in terms of scope, resources, and actual authority. - “Leadership” positions frequently lack real decision-making power, creating confusion and frustration - Expectations are unrealistic from the start, with little regard for onboarding or transition time - Employees are expected to handle high-stakes challenges without adequate guidance or support - Mistakes are not treated as part of growth; accountability is often pushed downward rather than owned by senior leadership - Management does not consistently support staff in navigating difficult team or organizational dynamics - Work-life balance is not respected in practice, despite being emphasized in messaging - Overall culture can feel reactive, under-resourced, and unsustainable

Pros

Working with my specialist was nice. We collaborated well together and the principals of our school were also nice. The school breaks are nice.

Cons

During test seasons, we did need to wake up pretty early to prep for the state test. I was very sleep deprived as I didn't live near the school.

Pros

Mission, students, great videos, and nice location

Cons

Poor leadership at top. It is the primary reason that the strong performers leave. They lose so many teachers and students but resort to excuses vs looking at who is running the school system.
