Pros

Meeting Great Customers and helping them through stressful situations

Cons

Working at Suddath was one of the most disappointing professional experiences of my career. Despite being a top performer, I was terminated without warning and under false accusations after raising legitimate concerns about my commission structure, lead distribution and pay transparency. Management made promises during onboarding—such as exclusive access to leads in a specific region —which were never honored. Instead, leads I brought in were redirected to male colleagues, significantly undermining my earning potential. When I questioned this and asked for clarity on how commissions were calculated (based on a "booking calculator" I was never shown), I faced clear retaliation. The company misrepresented my employment status, falsely claiming I was still on probation at the time of termination, even though that period had ended. Their justification for firing me—"job performance"—was both baseless and damaging. Two weeks earlier the president of our B2C sales told me I was a stand-out employee and they planned to move me "up the bus." In my experience the company also lacks basic technology and a coherent sales/marketing strategy. Outdated tools, poor lead tracking, and no clear plan to grow or support sales make it very difficult to succeed; it feels like a sinking ship with talent wasted by ineffective systems. The culture at Suddath rewards silence, not performance. If you ask questions, push for transparency, or expect fair treatment, you're viewed as a threat. I would not recommend this company to anyone seeking a stable, ethical, or supportive work environment.
