Pros

Willing to hire new college graduates. They have a pretty good health insurance program. Most staff was very nice and helpful. Only had a few issues with some employees. Location was nice (I was not at home office in Jacksonville). My location had me change positions 5 different times. Mostly they were advancements. Only 1 ever came with a pay raise. You can move up, however many managers are set in stone and will be there till they die. Which can be good, and bad depending on if you get along with them. Mine was a fantastic leader.

Cons

Pay was not great. I worked extremely long hours. Sometimes starting at 6am and staying till 6,7,8,9, and even 10pm. I was Salary and thus this was free time for them. This was not always the case. This was because of large projects we had going on or waiting on trucks to show up that were very late or had specific cargo that must be unloaded or loaded. However it happened a lot. Hourly employee's would hit the deck at 5pm, but those of us on Salary were almost made to feel like leaving on time at 5pm was a sin. A few times early on here, my manager would give me items to complete at 4pm that would take about 2 hours to complete. Not a very nice thing to do to someone with barely a year on their belt here. Once I moved up from this position, I did get more experience in many different things. Mostly the pay, and extreme hours were the deal breakers. They also have a knack for keeping outdated systems and practices in place. They keep very old employees who really should retire, and leave us younger willing to do anything employees just hanging on. Get in, get some experience, and move on to another company. The moving industry is tough, and the margins are tight.

Pros

Workers become like family. Benefits ok. Meet celebrities.

Cons

No advancement in pay. Always excuse why no raises. Inconsistent hours even when Full-time. Firing at random creates discomfort in level of work.
