I am pleased with Summit's continuous investment in all factories, which has allowed us to stay ahead of our competition in technology while giving us many products to sell.

Cons

Continuous Improvements: Quote speed to customers Delivery Status and recommit communication Tracking info on deliveries wherever possible.

Pros

I like how Summit is investing a lot into innovation and Automation. Most shops don't focus on that and have been left beind in the industry. There are people of various backgrounds working at all sites which helps bring up younger Engineers, that helps secure the future of the company.

Cons

With all the changes going on throughout the sites, I believe some sites don't know / aren't aware sometimes. In certain cases, certain projects being worked can greatly benefit another site and reduce duplicated efforts. More cross site communcation will help everyone. Though with the ammount of work, emails and communcations being done now, might be tough to do this and still be affective (too many emails, meeting etc. sometimes).

Comparing Summit to other places worked, the benefits are not comparable. Positives: Summit matches 401K Negatives: 7 US holidays is low compared to the other places worked (10 is the norm). Medical insurance cost and coverage is not as good. Our company culture is the overriding benefit of working at Summit
