Pros

I value my team and department. Their support, dedication, and teamwork create a positive space where we all succeed, grow, and make an impact together.

Cons

Keeping everybody in the loop on emails.

Pros

The people, we are a group that works well together through out the plant. Of course there is an issue hear and there but it seems everyone respects and values each other. My immediate supervisor listens, doesn't micro manage and usually has an uplifting attitude that keeps the crew going. I'm on my third year here and had the pleasure of working with LD. He was personable and he valued his employees. I'm not so sure that's the feeling I get anymore.

Cons

Yes, communication from upper management. The only communication we receive from upper management.... is meant for upper management. Our pay scale. I work as a skilled laborer and make the same amount of money that I can make working in retail, a grocery store or even fast food. There are only a few reasons I stay. I love the work that I do, I enjoy working with the people here and definitely my pride.

Pros

The learning opportunities, the ability to approach upper management, communication to the whole company as to where we are at and where we are going. Promoting within is demonstrated well throughout the sites.

Cons

Culture alignment - each site is a singular entity that sometimes draws negative comparisons between each other rather than positive. Career Pathing - I think there is a general consensus that compensation is lacking compared to costs of living (maybe just California related). While that may not be easily improved, clear visibility on career pathing and progression within the company (both upward and lateral providing increased compensation) would alleviate some concerns and possibly motivate others as well.
