Pros

Opportunity to work on exciting projects, with world leading Automotive clients Challenging projects that create learning opportunities, if you are able to keep up with the fast pace Never a dull day, there is always something different to get stuck into, which is great for diversifying your skill set Working with like-minded people and forming positive working relationships

Cons

As the company is in a state of change, not all processes are outlined, this can be challenging for those who prefer a structured environment

Pros

Other parts of the company seem like they uphold company values and take care of the employees.

Cons

The Warwick office is a high-pressure, untrusting and toxic environment. It's a constant revolving door of staff because of the way we are treated. Intelligent people join on the premise that they’ll be working on an innovative product for the automotive industry. In reality, Summit Automotive is underdelivering on all fronts because of constantly-moving targets and a leadership team that sets unrealistic promises to clients. Staff morale has not been above 'medium' to date. There isn’t recognition of efforts when things are delivered and a ruckus if they are not - led by a bully. There have been some nightmare incidents that would make many people anxious or even fearful of coming into work. It’s not right. In terms of career development, there is none. Understanding that it was like a startup initially, a benefit of the doubt was given on the basis that these issues would eventually be addressed and processes be put in place. Twelve plus months later, nothing has changed and my assigned line manager is still someone who left months ago. Unfortunately, this experience has been unfulfilling and my moral compass cannot recommend this outfit for future staff. Oh, and you can forget flexible working...
