Pros
SLF gives plenty of opportunities for internal movement. Depending on the role, there are always chances to tackle new challenges. However this is contingent on having a good manager, and fortunately I have only had good managers at Sun Life. My managers have always allowed flexible work arrangements if needed. After I was proved effective at my job and trustworthy, work life balance was achieved.
Cons
Depending on the role, you can either be super bored in between accounting cycles or finding yourself swamped with managing international time zones as we are a global company.
