Pros

Solid equipment Hard working tech crew

Cons

Ever changing commission structure that always benefits the company. HR rarely/never responds to any requests. Micromanagement in all the wrong areas. Lead staff with scare tactics and threaten jobs as a way to motivate. Lots of price gouging occurs on the delivery and pick up charges to customers. Poor communication Not great at utilizing the technology they have. Everyone seems to be looking out for their own butt. Lots of talk about being a team but that's about all it is. Talk.

Pros

Stable company. The stock is always rising. They are very customer oriented. They have many locations through out the country so if you want to transfer you can.

Cons

Upper Management does not pay lower level employees very well. Overtime is expected as they do not properly staff. You read in the paper and online about how well Sunbelt is doing. This does not get reflected in employee pay. Profit share is rare and when it does happen it is laughable to the point that employees have told Sunbelt management to just keep their money.

Pros

Excellent pay, transportation pay, benefits, wonderful management staff, fast past liquid product to move. Outdoor work environment, good customers, co-workers were great to work with.

Cons

When I was originally hired the company was NationsRent. There was a purchase of NationsRent by Sunbelt. Many structural issues changed. Pay, benefits, what was sold. Also, in the midst of the transition I was in an work related accident. The transition was made difficult by the recovery of the accident. While I wasn't fired, I was looked at very hard. Interestingly, many of the Sunbelt folks no longer are employees at Sunbelt and the NationsRent management staff are in charge. I say yay. They are wonderful people. I know the upper management and deserve it. While it didn't work out for me, I am glad it worked out for my former co-workers.
