Pay is good and benefits are good, my location is a union location. There is so much safety regulations to put up with, it's almost like you can't perform your job duties because all of it gets in the way of being able to do that. Drivers Have very little discretion. Typically takes a months worth of training on the safety aspect before you touch a truck. Good training for people thatre new to hauling equipment. But for us that have been doing it a while and have experienced almost all of it, it doesn't help and just gets In the way. The whole safety approach is so redundant, the idea of employees doing proactive events just creates a culture to snitch on anyone and everyone, which tears down the team atmosphere they strive for.
