Pros

Great employees who care and want to make it happen.

Cons

Upper management has no idea what it’s really like at the store levels.

Pros

Always working with newer equipment, nicer trucks compared to some of the other rental companies. Decent PTO plan, benefits are pretty good (vision was important, prescription safety glasses provided at minimal cost above and beyond bi-weekly cost)

Cons

Little room for advancement (management wants to see you succeed but will do little to help you attain your goals of moving up) Every rental delivery and pickup was always "hot off the press and needed to be there 20 minutes ago" mentality Logistical common sense is not a priority (multiple drivers going to the same location when only 1 was needed) Poor raises (they LIVE on the promises of profit sharing and use that as a buffer to why they wont pay you a better hourly wage)

Pros

Sunbelt Rentals has been the best job I've had and room to grow, we are constantly expanding. There is work/life balance. they really care about the employees. The pay is higher than most credit/collections jobs. They offer over time when ever you want it. if you need time off you can make up hours. you get almost 3 weeks of PTO your first year. Every day is different, no two accounts are the same. and you learn a lot on the job. we learn about construction laws, bonds, liens, etc. You will also get to file bonds on companies. You have conference calls with your clients... this is not just a job you can screw around on!! there's actual work involved. Sometimes the boss will let us leave early for no reason and they pay us for the full day!!. in the summer time if its a nice day out we'll be told to leave and enjoy the day with pay. They take us out to lunch 1-2 times a month and they pay. monthly bonuses any extra helps! The insurance is decent but coverage could be better. I'm a single person so its affordable for me. You show up and do your work and prove that you are a dedicated employee advancements do happen. there are people who are still in the same position for 5+ years, but those people are not reliable and always calling off.

Cons

I wish the raises was more than once a year, and better bonuses. We used to get up to $2500 a month in bonuses now its up to $400 and is hard to meet that goal. the max i've got was $340 some look at it as a con, but you are kept busy all day little downtime. Management is hard on you only because they want to best from you and see you grow, again some people complain about this. So if you are the type that doesn't like management all in your work then this is not for you, because they look at your work and accounts daily.
