The manager at Preston traffic depot does not care for mental stability or workload for her traffic staff, she wants stuff done her way but is absent 70% of the time putting pressure on whoever sits on the hire desk.. with no consequence it seems. When she does turn in for work there is no praise recognised, but if you are a minute late in the yard (literally) hell will break loose and there is no reasoning to satisfy her. (Very hypocritical as she has a tenancy to not show up for days-weeks at a time with no communication to the depot or her staff) If you don’t befriend her and let her in on all personal details of your life she will dislike you and decide she doesn’t want you working there anymore. She is a poor manager and the staff deserve better. An inexperienced teenager could run the depot in a better fashion and would have more compassion for their staff. All in all I would recommend working for sunbelt rentals, the higher up management are brilliant, accommodating, recognise hard work and are thankful - just don’t work out of Preston.
