Pros

it is a job. have had worse, have had better. decent company have a fairly good balance of work and home, I'm field mechanic so there is going to be alot of variations and odd hours anywhere in that field anywhere.

Cons

pay is decent, but below average compared to other rental companies in the area. they don't care about they're employees at ALL., my pcm has stated that the company doesn't owe anyone anything and were all replaceable, btw; pcm = profit center manager, sunbelt doesn't have stores, they have profit centers because that is all they care about. they're not above lying either, oh and if you ever want a raise steer clear of sunbelt.

Pros

Everyday is different. Very diverse customers and equipment. Some very cool in the stores and in the field. Nobody really questions anything as long as you don't screw up.

Cons

Upper managements' lack of real world business experience. Everyone I talk to is just waiting for the economy to turn, so they can look elsewhere. Token raises to the chosen few , while CEO takes max bonus

Pros

There's always a lot going on, so the days don't seem to drag. You feel very useful because you're always doing something.

Cons

Policies versus reality are very inconsistent. Management (on all levels) really doesn't care about anything but profit. There is a "smokescreen" set up to make it appear to not be that way, but everyone who works there knows the truth.
