Cons

Pay is below industry average. Little opportunity to earn anything above base salary. Unreasonable, required minimum number of sales calls per week which leads to lower quality sales calls, rather more productive sales calls of a lower quantity.

Great first job, excellence in training new hires. Perfect amount of big company resources with a small business mindset. Everyone is always happy and helpful in the office and our all too common company conference calls help everyone stay on the same page.

Great, gifted, hard-working and caring people throughout the entire organization, the opportunity for wonderful customer relationships, tons of in-company resources and support if you ask for them, and huge income potential.

Cons

Upper management can be micro-managing which may or may not trickle down to the Sales Rep, depending on the District Manager. There are so many products and services to sell that it can be confusing to the new person just starting. Little discretion is given to the AM as to what pricing they can give to the customer and the necessary "approvals" needed can be tedious and time-consuming.
