Pros

Sunstates Security offers a leadership program for employees who possess the desire to build within the company, obtain leadership skills, and challenge themselves. They offer training for all newcomers to reach the security officer qualifications and assist with becoming first aid certified. The company is honest about wages and the pay rates are fair, site to site. Employees can earn Appreciation cards for going above and beyond. These cards can be exchanged for well-designed items that useful to have. Each site works to ensure employees are not overworked. Sunstates offers different types of hours depending on someone’s needs. The best aspect working in the Security field, is meeting individuals from all backgrounds. Not only will new employees get to connect with interesting coworkers, but each site has amazing clients that create a phenomenal work day.

Cons

The day is either fast or slow depending on what's happening.

Pros

Welcoming and inviting to new hires.

Cons

The amount of information that needs to be taken in is overwhelming. I know this will come with time, but not fast enough for me to keep up at the onset.
