Pros

RSU Stocks, they give you a ton, total comp could be higher than industry average depend on how well the stock perform Stable, easy job Good people for the most part but def depend on what team you get into Nice big campus Good health benefits Free breakfast & dinner boxes If you speak mandarin, viet, or canto, just want a job with average pay, good benefits to take care of your family, and don't care about work life balance or career growth, this is honestly great

Cons

Unflexible hours, need to come in at 9am no matter what, doesn't matter how late you worked until on the previous day. Hard to find parking (why hire so many people if you don't even have space for them) Noisy, crammed office area, with people coughing all the time Insanely outdated, inefficient system. Most staff can barely speak English nor are skillful, they are trapped in this Chinatown, and other companies likely will never hire them for this reason alone, people around you either stay for 1 year or 20 years. I appreciate how company will never do layoffs, but half the staff could be gone, and company will function just fine.

Pros

Job security and hard working employees

Cons

literally everything. Bad pay, lame benefits. zero work/life balance. You’re expected to work extra hours to meet business demands yet every tool used is ancient. I’ve never worked at a company so backwards before.

Worst company culture you'll ever see

Pros

Salary is not too bad and you don't need to worry about getting fired - because nobody gets fired as long as they don't have their opinion about anything.

Cons

Management is not selected on capabilities but on whether or not they are related to or are close to CEO. That means lots of incapable people with a huge ego. The EMEA office is an extension of the HQ and has no decision-making power. But even in the US nobody dares make decisions. So many rules that it's impossible to do your job: you are required to get a million approvals for every step you make. And the rules are not written anywhere, no one is going to tell you how to get something done, but they will tell you as soon as you do it wrong. Every man is for himself, there is zero teamwork. Every department is like a separate company, and if you have to work with someone to get your job done, you'll need to try hard to convince them to help you. No one thinks beyond the direct daily tasks they are given. A lot of people are not doing anything at all. All capable people leave because of the company culture that rewards being present more than any achievements: as long as your butt is in the office chair a good amount of hours plus you attend a hundred meaningless meetings every week, you're doing great. Obsession with tracking hours worked, lack of career progression, micromanagement like you can't imagine, resistance to new ideas (you'll be surprised how outdated everything is for a company that "prides itself on innovation"..), unclear management directions. The HR is there to enforce whatever upper management decides, not to support their staff. You can forget about work/life balance, you'll be required to sit in pointless meetings with the US every evening.
