Smart people, with the clear majority of them nice to work with. High base pay compared to other companies. Strong async work culture from fully remote working setup before 2025. Leadership is very engaged. Tradition of in-person weeks to meet up with team/coworkers once per quarter is fun.

Cons

No clear future for the company to a stronger business model or IPO with the competition from gen AI and recent Coda + Grammarly merger. Attrition from RTO (EPD 2x/week) and more aggressive PIPs has employee count trending down. Layoffs likely in the near future as the company cannot sustain parallel leadership structures from the merger. Culture was super at the company in pre-2023 but has slowly been degrading with new leadership and as velocity is prioritized. Workload can be demanding and ramping up with attrition and higher velocity.
