Gained valuable exposure to the diesel/OEM industry and had opportunities to contribute across marketing, product management, engineering, and customer-facing initiatives. There are hardworking employees within the organization, and the role provided broad experience across multiple business functions.
Cons
My experience at Superior Diesel was frustrating overall. I was brought in with discussions of growth and advancement opportunities that ultimately did not materialize, despite taking on significant responsibility. One of the biggest challenges was inconsistent leadership and uneven accountability across the organization. In my experience, some employees carried a very heavy workload while others appeared to contribute far less, which created frustration and made collaboration difficult at times. The culture and management structure were ultimately not the right fit for me professionally, and I decided to pursue opportunities that offered stronger alignment, clearer leadership, and more long-term stability.
