Pros

Work life balance is good. You can leave at 5.30 without thinking you are putting other people under pressure. It is still a pretty busy 10 hr day as standard. Benefits are good. Good contribution to pension. Good healthcare.

Cons

They insult you when it comes to the yearly pay chat. They simply don't care to give proper wage increases to people outside of trading & quant. I started on a decent salary and over the next 3 years combined my increases underperformed inflation by 10%. That is horrendous. SIG are known for this once you work for another quant firm and here what they think of SIG.... Also you get siloed in a team forever in there. It gets boring fast with no room to show what you can do or learn more.
