      Pros

      Decent pay for a Machine operator. The 10 percent shift bonuse is nice.

      Cons

      There is a lot of pressure not to mess up. The health insurance options have gotten alot worse.

      Pros

      Swagelok is a very financially stable company with excellent products and an unmatched distribution network. The benefits were good and the salaries were also better than many companies in the same industries. They have a philosophy of no lay offs for full time non-contract employees.

      Cons

      Swagelok's business and the industries they serve are very mature, so there is not a lot of change going on. Company is very political, often placing people in positions because of relationship as opposed to qualifications.

      Pros

      Swagelok treats all of their employees like members of the family. They are very open with all of their employees about the performance of the company. They also make sure that you are very involved with your career planning, and are very accommodating to any moves you want to make within the company to broaden your experience.

      Cons

      The vast majority of the opportunities within Swagelok are in the Cleveland area, so mobility to other geographic regions is limited.
