Pros

You can negotiate a competitive salary and rewards package for yourself. As an engineer you are likely get to work with cutting edge technologies. Training is encouraged. There are some great colleagues with lots of knowledge and experience you can learn from. Dynniq is now part of the SWARCO group so hopefully some of Dynniq's penny-pinching practices will become a thing of the past.

Cons

It's quite easy to get stuck in a rut. Even if you start on a decent salary it won't automatically increase in line with inflation or your performance.
