Swarovski will never get it together

Pros

People I worked with were great

Cons

Swarovski thinks too highly of themselves. They are ruining relationships with long term customers and ruining their name in the industry. HQ is always trying to fix their problems but all they ever do is create more problems. You will be expected to work long hours, with outrageous goals and minimal pay. They will promise promotions but it takes years. The employees left are hanging by a thread but HQ doesn’t care. HR doesn’t care they are also almost out the door…they have no real say in the business. All the good people left, the others were let go and all they have now are the people who get paid less or have a paid cap and have no where else to go.

Pros

The people are great, good discount. This is an inclusive company that works on being diverse

Cons

This company is constantly re-organizing itself which means you will end up doing 5 peoples jobs for minimum pay. Expect to get more work added with every re-organization. There is zero advancement opportunities in this company, just additional work for no additional pay. Also beware the job postings: they are usually for temp positions, not permanent.

Pros

Health Insurance / benefits (only for full time/salary positions) Employee Discount Upper management leaves you alone for the most part and tends to ignore you especially if your store is red and blue.

Cons

Pay! Swarovski expects all employees to put in 110% effort but only wants to pay the bare minimum. For example my part timers who have been with me for years make 12.30 and any potential new hires I get I have to offer 14.00. How is that fair to the loyal employees??? Company re-evaluated our bonus structure and tried to make it sound like our part timers will make $$$ however if part timer A works 10hrs a week and makes amazing sales and part timer B works 10 hours a week and makes mediocre sales they make the same exact bonus. New Bonus structure also eliminated quarterly bonuses for team members which based on the pay rates a lot of part timers depend on to make ends meet.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. At Swarovski, we truly value constructive employee and customer feedback, both positive and negative. Our hope is to make each individual employee, from our stores to our corporate offices, feel that they are valued. We are glad that you list the employee discount as a positive benefit, as this along with our retail employee allotment are two of the most revered benefits. We are also proud to be able to offer a full benefits package to all our Full-Time employees and a modified benefit package to our PT employees, including the ability to participate in our 401K. We continually evaluate the benefits we offer to our Full-Time and Part-time employees as most evidenced by the recent employee survey conducted for this reason. As for your concerns about pay, we strive to remain competitive in our compensation practices and regularly review. This new bonus program, that you may not agree with, was rolled out after much research to foster an environment where teamwork can flourish. The new bonus structure also embraces an omni channel approach to selling as it takes into consideration the success of the entire North America market including our online sales. We value this feedback and it will be shared with upper management both in North America and Globally. If you would like to reach out to a member of our HR team or Upper Management, we would be happy to address your concerns in depth. This kind of feedback is crucial to the betterment of the company. As always, we wish you all the best in your current and future endeavors at Swarovski.
