Working as a CPA for Swarthmore Career Services is one of the best jobs on campus. Not only do you receive top-notch training on the internship and job search process (how to write and revise a resume and cover letter, networking, interview prep, etc), you also have the opportunity to help other students translate their passions into internship and career opportunities.

Cons

It can be a bigger time commitment that you initially anticipate beyond just your 3.5 hour work shift per week because you'll be asked to staff different events and workshops throughout the semester.

Good pay, every other weekend off.

Cons

Favoritism, Dining Service does not seem to follow the true Mission Statement of the Collage. Its very different when you work in Dining Services than any other Department. Shuts down in the Summer so you need to find a Summer job.

Your hours are very flexible, but you must be available often to answer emails and handle inquiries. Get to handle situations with students/professors alike. Learn about the surrounding area in Swarthmore

Cons

Limited Resources as manager (vans are not the best and students can only work so much) Sometimes you may have to cover shifts because students can be flaky at times
