Pros

The customers make it fun.

Cons

I’ve never worked for a company where people aren’t important. HR, District managers, and corporate offices simply don’t respond to pressing things. Whether payroll issues, issues with harassment, or general safety concerns. Intense lack of communication and they will actually chastise you for having the audacity to bother them since they have “heavy workloads.” They pass the buck to different people and HR stands only by corporate leaders. Store level employees do not matter across the entire company, it’s not isolated. Corporate leaders also don’t communicate very important dates until the last minute and expect you to accommodate. For example, I’ve had random people show up to the store with no heads up from my leader, whom expected me to simply figure it out.
