Pros

Good pay and good opportunity for bonuses

Cons

-Bad work culture -Lots of Micromanagement - Managers have clear favorites and may treat employees unequally -Other retail assistants may boss you around since they are friends with management outside of work -Managers do not help employees in times where they may need support. Often they will leave them to handle situations themselves. I often felt like I was alone in this job, with no one to support me if anything went wrong. Compared to other numerous jobs I have worked in, the managers were not very supportive. At Swatch Birmingham, often I found that I did something which the managers did not like, I would find out from other staff members, who the manager had gossiped with, rather from the managers themselves privately.
