Pros

Steady (but low) paycheck. Quick hiring process. There are some longstanding employees, but they are not necessarily happy employees.

Cons

VERY POOR MANAGEMENT/ LEADERSHIP. You get paid badly, treated lbadly, the money this organization has never actually reaches the kids it's supposed to help, and leadership is just plain awful. Management isn't much better but it's not really their fault, they get paid horribly as well.

Pros

PTO is pretty decent. Some people are nice . It is an easy job most of the time and if you can handle the kids you'll be fine.

Cons

Most Supervisors don't take their job seriously and there is no real therapy happening.

Pros

Caring organization. Senior Leadership listens and cares about all staff in the organization. Very transparent in their communications. New executive team - lots of positive changes. This is the best place I have ever worked.

Cons

Salary and benefits may not be what they are in the "for profit" world but the work that we do and the difference we make are what matters. Pay is a bit less but not significant. Other than that nothing.
