Pros

I love working with the kids. It is easily the most rewarding feeling when you know you're making a difference. These kids have been through Hell and back. They have seen the worse of the worst, and are just trying to survive the only way they know how. Depending on where you are depends on the level of support from your supervisors.

Cons

Lack of support and consistency from supervisors, different units and higher ups. Often times clients are unable to be safely managed due to their level of aggression. Making it unsafe for staff and clients, and needing to rely on police support.

Pros

Flexible scheduling for PRN staff. Amazing team to work with The kiddos are wonderful Pay raises with experience and time worked at the company Trainings that keep you up to date on the state and facility protocols. Some of the training count towards college credit.

Cons

Lately there has been a high turn over due to staffing restrictions and lack of overtime.
