Pros

Younger crowd so easy to make friends Solid Happy Hours

Cons

- lots of gossip and cliques - clear favoritism - lack of organization (aka more like a sorority) - lack of basic communication skills amongst employees and from leadership - overall process established is messy and doesn't allow for a lot of placements to actually occur - no career growth (even though they tell you there is) - the hours and expectations are actually ridiculous

Pros

Decent growth potential if you can stick it out. Moving into a sales position is the best way to maximize earning potential. A good place to gain experience. President’s club incentive. Recently moved away from recruiting for entry level positions which can be a headache.

Cons

Really poor base salaries, not nearly competitive enough with the market. Lack of trust with management. Metrics are to be expected but Swoon’s are significantly higher than multiple more well established firms. Terrible turnover, and not the typical “to be expected it’s agency recruiting” turnover, but rather a red flag that something needs to change from a leadership standpoint. A constant expectation to work late or put in time on the weekends. Leadership runs around trying to preach work life balance, but will also praise employees that work on weekends on company wide email chains, the message gets lost and the delivery feels stale. 401K doesn’t kick in until 12 months.
