Sylvan is a great corporate company, but franchisees get screwed

Really in depth training from the best educators and endless training videos on how to actually do your job.

Cons

Since it’s a franchise, unfortunately the franchisees cut corners and do not pay well for how much you have to work and basically develop your own pipeline. It was very very heavily sales based and at the end of the day it’s all about the revenue. I really do believe in the Sylvan program, but for how much they charge customers does not reflect in a decent salary just to make a basic living.
