Pros
Flexible hours- You choose when you want to be available; if you aren't available for a certain time, it's no issue. Preset curriculum- No lesson planning or prep required; all educational and tutoring material is provided by the company. You simply have to administer it. Low intensity- Good job for those with trouble standing or with mobility problems.
Cons
Lack of upper management-May often have to do the job with very little to no management at all, which then requires learning how to do things the managers normally do (answer phones, give assessments, print schedules and paperwork, etc.) Support issues- Children can become unruly or difficult to work with, and one must learn how to deal with these situations, as management staff may be busy or absent. Minimal communication-last minute schedule changes or cancellations can be common and poorly communicated to staff
