      Pros

      Working with students who want to learn.

      Cons

      Poor management; Underpaid employees; No respect or support for employees; Center Director is incompetent (has an instructor take their competence test); They only care about the quantity ($) not the quality.

      The program is a positive experience for both its instructors and clients is because it is aligned to state standards.

      Pros

      As an Instructor, I felt that I was really able to make a contribution. As a certified instructor, I was privileged to receive an Intensive program training, ongoing coaching and observation. All my students moved up at least one level (i.e. below-basic to basic, basic to proficient and in a few cases from basic to advanced).

      Cons

      As an instructor, the best part of the program was working with the students and knowing that I played a part in their academic success. The pay could be improved, but bonuses are given for good attendance.

      Overall I love my job but there are many times when it has been very frustrating.

      Pros

      Being able to work with young kids and older kids is so rewarding. I have been asked to help with math and beginning reading students. It is very rewarding to help a student learn how to do something.

      Cons

      The lack of communication between the owners and rest of the staff. It's very disorganized and often times when I cannot do my job because someone at a higher level has not done theirs.
