Most of the company is marketing/sales Engineering is underfunded and overworked Constant changing of priorities leads to wasted work No investment in staff, e.g training, professional development No other benefits other than pay, e.g. bonus is in stock options which are worthless if you leave No support for staff health issues (attitude was get the job done or get out)

After getting back from an energizing and fun SKO (Synack Kickoff) in Nashville - I remain very happy with my decision to join Synack. I am surrounded by wicked-smart, driven, and kind people. I have trust in our leadership to propel Synack to successful years ahead. I feel like a valued member of the team - and I hear the same comments from co-workers across departments. Also, I previously worked in crypto - and cybersecurity is a much more stable industry.

Cons

I personally enjoy a smaller company and remote works for me! Maybe it's not for you.
